Sterling Strauser (Pennsylvania, 1907-1995) oil on board abstract expressionist still life painting depicting pink, blue, green, purple, and yellow flowers on a beige background, rendered in a thick impasto technique. Signed and dated "Strauser 1971" bottom right. Housed in a giltwood Rococo-style frame with a linen liner. Sight: 27 1/2" H x 21 1/2" W. Framed: 35" H x 29" W.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Tinka Brown, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition.
