Two (2) Royal Worcester polychrome and parcel gilt porcelain items, including one (1) potpourri jar with reticulated lid and molded basket weave decorations, #1286, and one (1) Neoclassical ewer, #1309, both having foliate patterns against transitional blush to pink grounds, terminating in round bases. Purple Royal Worcester marks with additional numerals to underside of bases. Late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Jar with loss to finial tip, 1/4" to edge of the inner lid, few minor scattered fleabites, void in the glaze to rim and upper shoulders below rim, and 2 minute vertical surface stains to reticulated lid. Ewer with fleabite to top of handle. Both with very minor losses to gilt and polychrome, surface wear.
