Grouping of five (5) Native American Southwest Tohono O'odham baskets, cylindrical form and comprised of various materials including willow, yucca, and devil's claw. Lot includes two (2) 19th-century forms with contrasting geometric designs and three (3) 20th-century forms with contrasting geometric designs. Ranging in size from 2 1/4" H x 4 1/8" dia. to 4 1/4" H x 7 1/2" dia.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Patricia Kiegel, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All baskets in overall good condition with minor use wear. Largest 20th century basket with minor losses to weavers to inner base, medium 20th century basket with losses to inner base weavers and some staining.
