Pair of Italian parcel gilt Neoclassical style mirrors, rectangular hardwood frames surmounted by carved and giltwood urn and lion masks, over cascading husks at each side; the lower edge centered by a large giltwood lion mask flanked by husk swags. 26" H x 16" W. Late 19th century. Provenance: A Nashville, TN, estate, acquired while living in Italy in the mid 20th century. CONDITION: Both mirrors have losses to tips of husk cascades on the sides, one mirror is missing all the husk swag to side of lowermost lion mask.
