Two (2) "Big Boy" stone lithograph movie posters for the Juvenile Comedies "Grandpa's Boy" (1927) and "Navy Beans" (1928), both films directed by Charles Lamont, produced by Jack White and E. W. Hammons, and distributed by Educational Pictures. Lithographed by Acme Lithography Company, New York. Both posters matted and housed under glass in black painted wooden frames. Sight – 38" H x 25" W. Framed – 49" H x 36" W. American, early 20th century. Note: Malcolm Sebastian (1923-2006) known more commonly by his film pseudonym "Big Boy" was a comedic child actor for Educational Pictures in the 1920s. James R. Qurk, the editor of Photoplay Magazine refered to him as "…an infant prodigy, a baby who got a break, a minature Atlas supporting a world of good fun" in the January 1928 issue, page 13 of the Advertising Section. CONDITION: Overall good condition with fold lines. Both posters are adhered to auxilary linen support. Not examined outside of frames.
