After Jules Moigniez (French, 1835-1894), cast bronze sculpture of a hunting dog with pheasant in his mouth upon a naturalistic base with foliage, tree stump, and mushrooms, raised on an oval bronze base. Signed on base lower left "J. Moigniez." 16 1/2" H x 23 1/2" W x 6 1/4" D. Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Gerry Sadow, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: A few scattered spots of oxidation, overall excellent condition.
