Two (2) Asian monochrome Celadon glazed bowls. 1st item: Celadon glazed and carved ceramic bowl, the interior with incised decoration to the center and body with ribbed decoration. 3 1/4" H x 11 1/2" dia. 2nd item: Celadon glazed and carved ceramic bowl, organic pinched rim with incised decoration to the interior rim and ribbed decoration to the body. 4" H x 8" dia. Both items late 19th/early 20th century or earlier. Note: Acquired by the consignor's father during his travels, including the Far East in the 1950's, as part of his world touring business that catered to the rich and famous. CONDITION: 1st item: Overall craquelure to glaze, approx. 3 1/2" hairline to rim. 2nd item: Overall craquelure to glaze, chip to rim, losses/breakage to original exterior decoration.
