French School oil on canvas painting after Antoine Blanchard (France, c. 1910-1988) depicting figures traversing a snowy Paris street beside the Seine, between warmly illuminated kiosks. Spurious signature lower right. Anco Built logo stamped en verso of stretcher. Framer's label, en verso of frame. Housed in a giltwood Louis XV style frame with shell designs. Sight: 29 1/2" H x 39 1/4" W. Framed: 40" H x 50" W. Early to mid 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Annette Petri, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall excellent condition, some slight wear to frame.
