Two knives including an Indonesian Kris dagger and British commando knife. 1st item – Antique Indonesian Kris with elaborately carved handle, guard and steel blade with meteorite striations on the guard and the middle of the blade. 17 7/8" length. Late 19th/Early 20th century. 2nd item – Third pattern British Indian Commando Knife with triangular point and ribbed bronze or brass handle and black painted surface, marked "England" on guard and an upside V with line through the middle over "13" on grip. British commandos used these for engagements in the Far East. Retains original leather sheath, marked "England". 11 1/2" dagger length, 13" sheath. Early 20th century. Condition: 1st item – some white residue/debris in crevices of handle carving (removable) and minor losses to relief carving, tip with minor blunting, minor oxidation to blade. 2nd item – patinated surface to dagger, overall very good condition.
