Jan Saudek (Czech, b. 1935) silver gelatin print with hand-tinting, “Hey Joe!,” 1959, printed 1995. A man on a motorcycle looks toward the Vlatva River and Prague’s Charles Bridge, with the city beyond and a cloudy sky above. With Saudek’s decorated taped strip with drawn borderline. Titled, number 134, and inscribed “model print…finished 14.april 1895” to strip. Signed in pen in the image, lower right. Floated with protective corners under UV screening acrylic in a black metal frame with cream mat. Sheet: 15 3/4 in. H x 11 3/4 in. W. Framed: 24 1/4 in. H x 20 1/4 in. W.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Not examined out of frame.
