G. Russell Case (American/Utah, b. 1966), "Browns on the Red Rock," watercolor on paper painting depicting a winter river scene in Montana with fly fisherman in foreground. Signed lower right: G. Russell Case 93. Additionally signed, titled and dated en verso. Housed in a contemporary wood frame. Sight – 10 1/2" H X 15 1/2" W. Framed – 22" H x 26" W. Late 20th century. Biography: Russell Case was born in Brigham City, Utah. His father, Gary Case, was also an artist, and encouraged Russellís art career. Russell Case studied at Utah State University and is represented by several Western galleries. He has won numerous awards including Best of Show, the Golden Thunderbird, and the Edith Hamlin awards at the Maynard Dixon Country annual Exhibits in Mt. Carmel Junction, Utah, 2003-2005. CONDITION: Overall excellent condition.
