D-33 German WWII RAD (Reich Labor Corps) M1934 hewer dagger, having a stag horn handle with a stylized eagle head pommel. The crossguard has a single upturned design and the scabbard is metal construction with two large nickel plated fittings. The scabbard throat fitting is engraved with a celtic design and the scabbard finial has the RAD logo consisting of a swastika within a spade an adorned with two sheaths of wheat. The blade is engraved "Arbeit adelt" (work/labor ennobles) and marked "Eickhorn Soligen" with squirrel, "RAD" within a triangle and GES. GESCH. 15 1/2" L. Condition: Pitting and evidence of oxidation to metal fittings on scabbard end and minor oxidation on knife handle.
