French Louis XV style gilt mounted mahogany coffee table, oval form, inlaid with Kingwood sunburst medallion with floral surround, stationary ormolu glass tray with two naturalistic handles, line-inlaid skirt with convex lower edge, gilt satyr foliate mounts to knees, and plain tapered legs ending in claw sabots. 20 1/4" H x 33 1/2" W x 19 5/8" D. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Scattered minor warping/splitting to veneer, primarily to knees. Loss of two nails for gilt mounting to glass tray rendering the mounting loose.
