An assembled grouping of seventeen (17) Japanese Imari porcelain dinnerware items including: six (6) small plates with shaped gilt rims all with alternating foliate vignette decoration to the rims, central blue reserves and flowering branch decoration to the underside of the rim with four blue character marks to the bases; two (2) bowls with gilt shaped rims, bat vignette to the centers, alternating foliate and animal vignettes to the rims, scrolling foliate decoration to the undersides of the rim and blue character mark to the under side; two (2) bowls with gilt scalloped rims, blue foliate centers and four character marks within a blue circle to the base; five (5) footed bowls with shaped rims, bird, foliate and landscape decoration to the inside, alternating foliate decoration on a diapered ground to the outside, and the base with four blue character marks (3 bowls with chip to rim); and two (2) tea cups with gilt shaped rims, scrolling foliate decoration and four blue character marks to the underside. Ranging in size from 2 5/8" H x 3 3/4" dia. to 2" H x 9" dia. All items Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Williamson County, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with light general wear with the exception of two bowls listed above.
