Two (2) United States Congressional House of Representatives publications containing the text of messages from Andrew Jackson, seventh President of the United States from 1829 to 1837. 1st item: BOUNDARY BETWEEN GEORGIA AND FLORIDA, Document No. 43, 22d Congress, 1st Session, dated circa December 29, 1831. 2nd item: CANAL ROUTES – FLORIDA, Document No. 61, 22d Congress, 1st Session, dated circa December 9, 1833, including four (4) fold-out survey maps of the canal routes. Both are paperback octavo booklets, 194 total pages, stitched. Both items approximately 9" H x 5 3/4" W x 1/4" D.
CONDITION: Both items in overall good condition with toning/acid burn, minor tears and creases, scattered minute foxing spots, pencil inscriptions from previous owners, to be expected from age. Maps with tears, largest 2", to center left edges near binding.
