14K yellow gold pocket knife owned by TN congressmen James Willis Taylor (1880- 1939) together with a 14K yellow gold chain. The pocket knife case and chain both test 14K. The pocket knife is inscribed "J Will Taylor, From Friends 12.25.20". The knife is 3" L. and the chain is 12" L. Chain: 13 grams. Gross weight of the lot is 35.81 grams.
PROVENANCE: Private East Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Knife blade with some rusting, otherwise overall good condition.
