102 pieces Indonesian Yogya .800 Silverware, including 100 pieces of flatware and 2 bowls. Flatware with repousse handles in varying scroll and floral designs, marked .800 with various initial marks on backs of handles, including 12 dinner knives with French stainless blades, 12 dinner/luncheon forks (lengths range 7 5/8" to 8"L), 12 salad/dessert forks, 12 dessert or place spoons, 12 small fish forks and 12 small fish knives (4 3/8" x 5 7/8"), 7 teaspoons, 4 five o'clock teaspoons, 12 demitasse teaspoons, 1 table/serving spoon, 1 cheese slicer, 1 ladle (10 1/2"L), 1 small lemon or pickle fork, and 1 fish slice with engraved fish design to blade, 103.57 oz (not including dinner knives). Together with 2 Southeast Asian silver bowls, one of lobed form with floral/scroll decoration on a hammered surface, marked .800 with partially legible initial mark, likely Yogya, 4 1/2" diameter; the other bowl of round form with beaded rim and plain center, the sides encircled with repousse decorations of various figures including lobster, crab, animals, masks, 8 5/8" diameter. Javanese or possibly Burmese. Bowls – 12.78 oz troy. Combined weight this lot: 116.35 total weighable troy ounces. 2nd quarter 20th century. Provenance: a Nashville, TN, estate, acquired while living in Indonesia in the mid 20th century. CONDITION: Silverware: Excellent condition. Bowls: Small bowl – excellent condition. Larger bowl – some small dents to center.
