Large Ming-style Chinese bronze turtle-dragon or bixi mythical figure having a long mane and tail with small tortoise on its back, both having scaled feet and flame designs on corners of shells, standing atop a bed of coins and ingots, symbolizing good fortune. 11 1/2" H x 14" W x 11 1/2" D. Weighs 28.58 lbs. 20th century.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with light oxidation of bronze and some wear to the underside.
