Charles and Ray Eames for Evans Product Company molded plywood leg splint. Stamped MOLDED PLYWOOD DIVISION LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, with the Evans Company logo on the front. Additionally branded S2-1790 to the interior. Designed in 1942 for use by the U. S. Navy during WWII. 41 1/2 in. H x 7 7/8 in. W.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Dr. Allen E. Johnson, Knoxville, TN.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Back fitted with wire for hanging, an approx. 3 in. errant vertical mark to the back.
