Group of thirty-one (31) assorted Japanese and Chinese Imari porcelain items. 1st-3rd items: Three (3) Chinese Imari pieces, including one (1) large round charger with alternating vignettes of a landscape, foo dog, and bird in flight, precious objects to underside; and two (2) chargers with foo dog and bird vignettes along with precious objects. 4th-31st items: Twenty-eight (28) Japanese Imari pieces, including one (1) charger with scalloped rim and alternating vignettes of landscapes and insects, seal mark to underside; one (1) charger with scalloped rim and central landscape, character marks to underside; one (1) bowl with birds in flight, seal mark to underside; three (3) bowls with central landscape scenes having animals; seven (7) rice bowls with seven (7) corresponding saucers with various landscape, bird, and mythological creature vignettes, five with character marks or seal to underside; four (4) saki glasses with scalloped rim and uchiwa design; and four (4) saki glasses with miniature landscape vignette. Diameters ranging in size from 1 5/8" dia. to 18 1/2" dia. Heights ranging in size from 1 5/8" H to 4" H. All items early to mid 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Susan and David Eagleton, Maryville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items with minor scattered surface wear, primarily minute scratches. Largest bowl with minute hairline to underside measuring 1/4" L.
