Antique Northwest Persian or Caucasian wide runner, 115" x 44 1/2", wool on wool, Lesghi Star design with animals, male figures and hands with evil eye. Four primary medallions and three primary borders, bluish-black field and colors of red, blues, green, yellow, lavender, peach, and brown. Circa 1920-1930. CONDITION: Scattered crease wear measuring 2" L to 4" L plus areas of wear to warp and weft. Some corrosion of dark threads, especially in yellow medallion. Some abrash. Ends reinforced. Sides rebound.
