Cloisonne box attributed to Seizaburo Goto, oblong with black ground; dragon decoration and geometric border to lid, the sides with flower and magic fungus decoration, the interior lined with silk brocade, signed on interior brass rim. Additional floral decoration to underside. 1-3/4" x 4-3/4" x 3-1/4", Japanese, Meiji period, late 19th to early 20th century. Condition: Old paper label to bottom, some bending and separation to interior metal rim, 1/8" chip to lower edge of box.
