Framed hand painted porcelain landscape plaque depicting a dark haired nude female with arms above her head, draped with a white covering and reclining against a leopard skin rug in a lakeside setting. Signed and dated lower right "Emma B. Anderson, 1908". Housed in a later gilt frame. Sight – 7 3/4" H x 10 3/4" W. Framed – 14 1/4" H x 16 1/4" W. Note: Emma Anderson was listed in the Wichita, KS city directory as a painter specializing in porcelain painting from 1912-1920. She worked at the Wichita Art Studio located at 105 E. 1st from 1912-20 and lived at 606 S. Lawrence Avenue, Wichita in 1915 and at 719 N. Lawrence Avenue, Wichita from 1918-20. Later gilt paint added to frame.
