Colt House Model Cloverleaf revolver and Colt 3rd Model Deringer (2 items). 1st item: Colt House Model Cloverleaf Revolver .41 cal. rimfire, 4 shot cylinder, serial number 2499. Barrel marked "COLT'S HOUSE PISTOL / HARTFORD CT U.S.A" and flanked by Maltese crosses. Checkered spur trigger and hammer, burl walnut grips, birds head butt. All visible serial numbers matching. 3" barrel length. Circa 1871-1876. 2nd item: Colt 3rd Model Thuer Deringer .41 cal rimfire single shot, Standard model, serial number 3170 located on bottom of barrel hidden by frame and under left wooden grip. Barrel marking of "COLT" partially obscured by pitting. Short, high hammer, birds head butt grip. 2 1/2" barrel length. Circa 1870 – 1912. Provenance: Gatlinburg, TN collection. Condition: 1st item: pitting evident on barrel, tip of hammer appears to have a partial loss, denting to one side of brass frame, top of one of wooden grip with loss. 2nd item: barrel with significant pitting, some pitting to trigger. Wedge possible replacement.
