East Tennessee Cherry Hepplewhite drop or fall leaf dining table, possibly McMinn Co. Retangular form with single board top, each fall leaf appears to also be from a single cherry board. Six tapered legs with two swing legs for leaf supports. Apron with incised edge, inner apron supports of yellow pine. 28 1/4" tall, 56 1/4" wide, 47 3/4" deep. Circa 1820. Provenance – Estate of Bill Selden, Athens, TN. Condition: Overall excellent condition with older refinish minor surface abrasions.
