Two (2) Delft Apothecary Jars, blue and white foliate and cartouche decoration with labels Syr. Pom. Dulc and Valeriana, fitted with likely later domed lids having concentric ring decoration and differing bulb finials. Each approximately 12 1/2 in. H x 7 in. Diameter. Dutch, late 18th – early 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Dr. Michael Spalding, Nashville, TN.
CONDITION: Glaze voids, some chipping, and losses at rims and bases. Lids may not be original to bases.
