German Meissen porcelain allegorical figure, "Day", depicting a cherub draped in pink holding a torch and flower. Blue Meissen crossed swords mark to bottom with 40 painted in red. Base additionally impressed 40 and etched L1346. Fitted with a glass dome cover. Figure – 14" H. Glass dome cover – 19" H. 19th century. CONDITION: Repair to left hand and 2 old breaks to hair.
