Two (2) Confederate States of America (CSA) bonds, including one (1) $1000 1863 bond, and one (1) $500 1861 bond. 1st item: $1000 CSA Bond, authorized by Act of Congress CSA of February 20, 1863, issued in Richmond, VA, dated November 27, 1862, serial number 32457. Lithographed by Archer & Daly Richmond, VA. Features a vignette of General Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson (1824-1863). Signed by Registrar of the Treasury C.A. Rose. Seven (7) coupons remaining. Housed under glass in a wooden frame. Bond – 14 3/8" H x 14" W. Framed – 21" H x 17" W. 2nd item: $500 CSA Bond, authorized by Act of Congress CSA of August 19, 1861, issued in Richmond, VA, dated November 27, 1862, serial number 573. Lithographed by B. Duncan, Columbia, SC. Features a vignette of Thomas Bragg (1810-1872), the second Attorney General, surrounded by three women. Signed by Registrar of the Treasury Robert Tyler.
