Charles Boyton and Son, London mid 20th century sterling silver tea kettle or hot water urn on stand, lobed melon form with seed pod and branch finial and handle with ivory ferrules. Stand with four petal shaped feet, burner, and two removable pins. Hallmarks and date marks for 1959, underside of tea kettle and lid, top of handle, surface of stand, and pins (burner is not marked). No monograms. Kettle – 9 3/4" H x 9 1/2" W. Stand – 4 1/8" H x 6 3/4" W. 61.31 total weighable troy ounces. Provenence: Private Brentwood, TN collection. CONDITION: Overall very good condition with surface scratches. No monograms. Stand slightly off balance. Pins are removable. Burner is a silver plated replacement.
