Two (2) toleware items including one tea or coffee pot having a red ground with floral decoration and a document box having a domed top and black ground with gilt, red and green foliate decoration. Pot – 9" H x 11 1/2" W. Box – 6 1/2" H x 9 1/4" W x 5 1/2" D. Both items 19th century. Provenance: Private Alabama collection. CONDITION: 1st item: Rusting and losses to base of pot, felt added to base, overall general wear and losses. 2nd item: Overall general use wear and losses. Top slightly warped.
