Dropleaf walnut Hepplewhite table with pegged construction. Two plain hinged drop leaves and four square tapered legs, molded edge at outside of legs and skirt. 28"H x 42"W x 18"D (42" with leaves extended). Possibly Southern, circa 1830. Provenance: a Gallatin, Tennessee estate. Condition: Old reinforcement under a knot on leaf, appears to be protective with no actual damage. Shrinkage, scattered light stains and abrasions to top. Later finish.
