Steel plate engraving with hand coloring depicting the Eastern parts of the United States from Maine to the eastern part of Texas and parts of Canada with countries, states, cities, towns, county lines, rivers, bodies of water, mountain ranges, and other areas of interest labeled in English and German text. Four inset maps of the environments of Baltimore and Washington, Boston, New York, and Philadelphia and Trenton, lower right of map. Title and explanation, center right of map. Copper plate engraving with hand coloring primarily depicting Georgia with parts of North & South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida with states, cities, towns, county lines, rivers, bodies of water, mountain ranges, and other areas of interest including locations of Native Americans labeled in English text. Title, centered above map. Map surrounded by scale notations and double line border. Float mounted under glass in a gilt wood frame. Map – 15 3/4" H x 12" W. Sheet – 16 1/4" H x 13 3/4" W.
