Louis XV style Vernis Martin decorated commode, bombe form with ormolu gallery and mounts, resting on cabriole legs. Retains the original R.J. Horner & Co. label on the base. 38 1/2" H x 19 1/2" W x 15" D. Late 19th century. Condition: Overall good condition with some losses and light denting to ormolu mounts, minor paint flake/loss to hip of gentleman and abrasion line above left of man's head on painted vignette of front panel.
