Paul Ludwig Kowalczewski (German-Polish, 1865-1910) bronze sculpture titled "Archer" depicting a partially draped man standing on a naturalistic ground, arching his bow. Signed along the right side edge of the sculpture "P. Kowalczewski". Mounted upon a rectangular marble stepped plinth base. 18" H x 8 3/8" W x 5 1/2" D.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Edward Laudermilk, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Sculpture overall very good condition. Some chipping along the lower edges of the stepped base. String to bow possibly reattached at some point.
