1st& 2nd item: Pair of Federal style carved wood parcel gilt eagle wall sconces, having outstretched wings supporting a shelf with acorn decorations on each side. Each placed atop a painted perch with pineapple finials.14" W x 11 1/2" H. American, 20th Century. 3rd & 4th items: Pair of gilt bronze eagle form Girandole candelabras having figural bodies with outstretched wings topped with two scrolling candle arms having acanthus leaf bobeches, cut glass drop prisms, and a fleur de lis finial, mounted to a stepped circular to square base with four flared cylindrical feet. 10" H x 10" W x 4 1/2" D. American, Late 19th century with 20th century additions.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st & 2nd items: Both items in overall good condition with some losses to gilt. One shelf missing a carved acorn decoration. Scattered areas of gilt paint retouching, black paint has been restored. 3rd & 4th items: Eagle with light green oxidation, one with heavy oxidation and a loss near the base. Bronze bases appear to be later additions.
