Daffinger" or "N. Daffinger" to left edge, possibly by or after Moritz Michael Daffinger (Austria, 1790-1849). Housed under glass in an oval metal frame. Sight: 2 1/2" H x 2" W. Framed: 2 3/4" H x 2 1/4" W. 2nd item: (Photographed first on the left) Attributed to Philippe Peticolas (Virginia, 1760-1841) portrait of a white-haired gentleman wearing a black coat and white cravat. Unsigned. Ink portrait sketch, en verso of backing paper. Housed under glass in a gilt frame set within a stamped leatherette frame with gilt accents. Includes handwritten label with attribution.
