Antique Persian Kuba area rug, wool on wool, stylized flower field 9 borders, $$ signs in pattern, colors of black, blue, red, ivory, yellow, turquoise, brown and peach. 3'7" W x 5'4" L. c. 1900. Provenance: Collection purchased from K. A. Menendian Rug Gallery, Columbus, Ohio, 1920-1940, and descended in family of present owner. CONDITION: Overall low pile. Wear to ends but remnants of woven honeycomb ends remaining, wear to foundation in center with 2 fold creases. Wear and fraying on selvedge.
