Antique Persian Isphahan area rug, wool on linen foundation, Tree of Life pattern, colors of red, gold, blue, ivory, cream, brown, navy and pink. 4'6" W x 6'5" L. c. 1910. Provenance: Collection purchased from K. A. Menendian Rug Gallery, Columbus, Ohio, 1920-1940, and descended in family of present owner. CONDITION: Scattered areas of low pile. Very minor bleeding of red dye. Wear to one corner. Low fringe.
