Grueby American Art Pottery ceramic bowl and vase, each having a matte green glaze to exterior. Vase, 6 3/4″H, retains old paper Grueby label along with the impressed mark to underside. Bowl, 3 1/2″h x 9″ diameter, with faint impressed mark to underside. Note condition report below. Boston, Massachusetts, circa 1910.
PROVENANCE: Inherited by consignors parents in the 1950s from Dr. J. Knight Wardwell of Boston.
CONDITION: Vase has1 1/4″ repaired chip to rim. Bowl has a 3″ repaired crack extending from rim.
