Paul Pascal (French, 1806-1879) Orientalist watercolor and gouache painting depicting figures, boats, and two camels at the edge of Egypt's Nile River, with the sun setting beyond two pyramids in the distance. Signed lower right. Framed under plexiglass in a bronze tone painted wood frame. Sight – 16" x 10 3/4". Frame – 21" x 18". Biography: Paul Pascal studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid and was active in France, exhibiting at the Paris Salon.
