Lot 370: Table Lamp w/ Reverse Painted Shade, Pittsburgh Lamp & Glass Co.

Art Nouveau Table lamp with obverse painted glass shade made by the Pittsburgh Lamp & Glass Co.; the shade depicting a tropical scene with palm trees and flora silhouetted against a sunset sky in shades of yellow, orange, teal and blue; tree details are painted on the outside of the textured shade, while the colors are on the inside. Original base in Art Nouveau style with finial and pull chain sockets, underside reads "P L B & G Co" with the style number "2120". Shade 14" D x 5 1/2" H; Overall 19 1/2" H. American, ca. 1905.

CONDITION: Very good condition, with slight scattering of paint flecks to shade, and discoloration and slight pitting to base. Recently rewired and operational.
