Pair of petite French Belle Epoque upholstered side chairs consisting of rope-carved arched frames crested with a cartouche, serpentine scrolled stiles above round padded seats, a supported on tapered legs terminating in toupee feet. Both chairs are upholstered in a neutral knubby chenille and the frames have been distressed painted in a blanc de plomb finish. 32" H x 23" W x 18" D. Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with later added upholstery and scattered paint touchup.
