Virginia marriage fractur, depicting the central image of a woman inside two entwined hearts, floliate border, and with the verse " Hearts like these are joined mutually for life, makes the glad husband and happy wife". Housed in the original wooden frame. Condition – Overall very good condition with some scattered spotting. Minor restoration to margins by Joel Oppenheimer of Chicago with reinforced paper at edges. Fractur measures – 6 3/8" H x 7 6/8" W. Framed – 8 1/2" H x 10 1/2" W. Early 19th century.
