A French Louis XV style two-tiered pastry table, primarily rosewood and veneered in kingwood, ebony and satinwood, decorated with applied gilt bronze mounts. Two rectangular book-matched veneered tops with gilt-bronze beaded edge in graduated size each raised on four cabriole legs with gilt bronze mounts. Main tier with attached gilt-bronze stylized handles. 36"H x 31" W x 20 1/4" D, Early 20th century, France.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Light surface abrasion. Appears to be an older refinish. Minor repairs to veneers and localized wood areas. Commensurate with age and use.
