A Meissen hand-painted polychrome porcelain dinnerware set, 52 total pieces, with molded basket-weave rims and decorated with various floral sprigs and butterflies. Set includes twelve (12) dinner plates, twelve (12) salad plates, twelve (12) soup bowls, eleven (11) bread and butter plates, two (2) large oval serving platters, two (2) large round serving platters, and one (1) gravy boat with attached underplate. All with Meissen blue crossed swords mark and number/letter blind stamp to undersides. Most are additionally marked with inscribed numbers to undersides. Ranging in size from 6 1/8" dia. to 11 1/4" H x 23 3/4" W. German, late 19th/early 20th century.
CONDITION: Scattered minor surface grime throughout. One salad plate with loss to underside of rim measuring 1/2" x 7/8"; one salad plate with spidering hairline measuring approximately 3 3/4" diameter.
