Southeast Tennessee (possilby Hamilton County) cherry pie safe, poplar secondary. Comprised of a plain top, case with one long dovetailed drawer having turned wood pulls above two paneled doors opening to reveal three interior shelves, sides having punched tins with a cup and saucer design, all resting on tapered legs. 47 1/8" H x 46" W x 16 1/2" D. 3rd quarter 19th century. Provenance: Private Southeast Tennessee collection. CONDITION: Refinished with some wear to top, overall good condition.
