An early standing wall cupboard with red painted surface. White pine appears to be the primary wood. Rectangular overhanging top with molded edge, over a rectangular body with a single hinged and molded door opening to reveal four removable shelves, atop tall bootjack feet. Wooden latch and original iron hinges. Back with six horizontal pine planks. 66" H x 47 3/4" W x 15 5/8" D. Early 19th century.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with scattered wear, nicks, scratches, shrinkage and separation at joints. Excessive wear to upper left door at wooden latch; several holes suggest the latch was reset a few times over the years.
