Two (2) Southern Two Drawer Cabinets, possibly Middle Tennessee.1st item: Southern 2-drawer cabinet, cherry primary, popular secondary. Comprisedof a molded overhanging top,twodovetailed graduated drawers, each with two round wooden pulls, terminating in four ball feet. Hand painted checkerboard to underside of second drawer. Circa 1840. 11 1/2" H x 23" W x 12 1/2" D. 2nd item: Southern 2-drawer cabinet, walnut primary in the original surface, popular secondary. Comprised ofa molded overhanging top and base, twodovetailed graduated drawers, each with two round brass pulls. 11 1/2" H x 21 3/8" W x 11 3/8" D.Second half of 19th century. Provenance: The estate of James (Jimmy) Neely, Smyrna, TN. CONDITION: Both items in overall good condition. 1st item: Areas of loss, largest 3", to cherry.Few areas of staining to top. 2nd item: Surface scratches, areas of loss, craquelure to paint.
