Five (5) Chinese Export Famille Rose porcelain polychrome enamel and parcel gilt items, including one (1) rectangular box with divided interior, having figural scene and fret design to cover, and foliate, bird, and insect designs to body; two (2) lidded small rectangular butter dishes with rectangular finials and pierced inserts, figural scenes to lids and foliate or insect designs to body; and two (2) plates with figural scenes including warriors in uniform with face paint and attendants, the other plate with a scholar and female attendants, borders with foliate and/or bird designs. Ranging in size from 2 3/8" H x 5 3/8" W x 4 1/2" D to 2 7/8" H x 7 1/8" W x 3 5/8" D. All pieces mid to late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Chattanooga, TN collection.
CONDITION: All pieces in overall very good condition with scattered wear to glaze.
