Thirteen (13) pieces of Royal Copenhagen Flora Danica Porcelain Dinnerware with gold borders, including one pierced luncheon plate (9 5/8 in. dia.) marked Campanula trachelium L., one smaller pierced luncheon plate (9 in. dia.) marked Papaver nudicaule L., one serving bowl (8 3/4 in. dia.) marked Geranium silvaticum L., two salad plates (7 5/8 in. dia.), three dessert plates (6 3/4 in. dia.), three bread plates (5 5/8 in. dia.), and two butter pats (3 in. dia.). Few additional botanical inscriptions include Viola hirta L., Arbutus alpina L., and Stellaria humifusa L. Each piece is marked on the underside with Royal Copenhagen and inscribed with the plant’s Latin name.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Marty and David Black, Rockford, TN.
CONDITION: Larger luncheon plate with repair to edge, primarily visible from underside. All other items in overall very good condition.
